Description
This beautiful vase is a classic example of Scavo glass, a technique that involves applying substances to the surface of glass that fuse at high temperatures to create a weathered appearance, making the glass look like it came from an archaeological expedition. The Scavo technique has been used by glassmakers such as Murano to add an extra touch of elegance to their work. This piece is an urn style vase with two decorative applied handles that don’t feature the Scavo technique and a Scavo body, all in a rich green. In excellent condition with no visible signs of damage. Free shipping to USA
