Vintage “What A Grandmother Is” decorative wall plate with the metal hanger already attached. Created by The Original Red Plate Company in the 1980s, this was illustrated by Sandi Wickersham Resnick. It has fun quotes about grandmothers only a 3rd Grader would say such as:
"They're old so they shouldn't play or run”
“When they take us for a walk they show down past things like leaves or caterpillars”
“They never say "hurry up"
“Usually they are fat but not too fat to tie your shoes."
This plate measures 14 5/8 inches wide, 11 1/8 inches tall, about 1 1/2 inches deep. There is a pack of 3 x 5-inch index cards in the pics to compare sizes. This weighs 2 pounds 12 ounces.
This plate is structurally sound with no chips or cracks. It’s vintage so there may be wear like scuffs, marks, stains, scratches, and things like that. This plate comes with a plate holder. The back is stamped "The original red plate company inc. California U.S.A. 1983". Free shipping to USA
